HTC New VIVE Tracker (3.0) - Beyond Controllers

Tracker is loved by everyone. The VIVE Trackers bring a high level of versatility to our platform. Fully-tracked avatars feel much more lifelike, virtual dancers can perform the craziest breakdance moves in real time, and educators can build training applications with fully tracked props and mockup devices.

NeosVR views the HTC VIVE Tracker as an essential tool in their development of custom peripherals. They use the technology to create simple tracked objects, complex control panels, and integrated real-world tools. This allows them to map physical buttons with a digital component for maximum immersion in their experiences. Bit Space also loves the trackers.

When using Base Station or SteamVR Base Station 2.0, the VIVE Tracker is compatible with the HTC VIVE (Base Station only), VIVE Pro Series, VIVE Pro Eye Series, and VIVE Cosmos Elite. It is also compatible with the VIVE Cosmos External Tracking Faceplate as an accessory when using Base Station or SteamVR Base Station 2.0.

Please note that tracker compatibility may vary, and it is important to check your product information prior to use. Additionally, the VIVE Tracker requires base stations and software (sold separately), as well as a USB connector on your PC. The number of VIVE Trackers in use simultaneously is limited to the free USB connectors on your PC.
